Infants | Six (6) Weeks up to Twelve (12) Months | CURRENTLY ENROLLING
We accept infants at six (6) weeks old. In addition to nurturing and primary care, our teachers stimulate infants' senses to encourage their mental and physical development. Our infant program provides an ideal environment where your child will learn to grasp toys, vocalize sounds, recognize pictures of familiar objects, and acquire various other skills. We pride ourselves on being able to work with each infant in a series of stimulating activities that incorporate the natural routines of feeding and play. Our infant teachers will reinforce the babies' development without disrupting their daily schedule. Our infant program also provides formula and baby food. In our infant classroom, we require that each parent fill out an infant feeding plan. This will ensure that we do everything possible to ensure your baby feels at home and stays on the same schedule. Our infant rooms provide your child with a warm and nurturing environment. This child-centered space stimulates creative exploration and growth in developmental skills. Adult-child interactions are essential to early brain development. The closeness of sharing during free exploratory play is fundamental to promoting and developing the brain's pathways that produce cognitive and social-linguistic knowledge. Teachers use feeding and diapering times to ask open-ended questions, pretend and parallel talk, repeat time and space words, and encourage the child's actions/accomplishments.

Ones | Twelve Months (12) to Two (2) Years | CURRENTLY ENROLLING
Both infant and toddler teachers encourage building complex neural circuits that govern motor development, language, music, logic, emotional and social skills. We do so by interacting with children during regular play periods. Teachers use feeding and diapering times to ask open-ended questions, pretend and parallel talk, repeat time and space words, and encourage the child/s actions and accomplishments. Outside play is encouraged to develop both large and small motor skills, as well as social skills. Both morning and afternoon external play sessions will consist of running, kicking, throwing, jumping, peddling, climbing, and exploring nature to its fullest if the weather permits. The goal of our toddler teachers is to welcome each family to their classroom and foster a sense of security by taking the time to learn the personalities and likes of each child. This approach ensures that students and parents are in a safe, nurturing preschool environment surrounded by experienced teachers who love them. Students who join our toddler class will be allowed to explore the world around them as they learn the goals and objectives that will be achieved using a creative curriculum. The daily activities in our toddler classroom include; social and emotional interaction with their peers and teachers in spacious learning centers and a fun introduction to numbers, colors, and shapes. Each toddler is supervised by their teacher as they are provided opportunities to express their maximum level of creativity through discovery and play.

Twos | Twenty-Four (24) Months to Three (3) Years | CURRENTLY ENROLLING
At this point, your child will begin experimenting and interacting with other children and the environment. More routines and structure are introduced into the daily schedule. Your child will learn how to find uses for familiar objects and explain everyday occurrences using simple reasoning. The daily activities in our two-year-old classrooms include; social and emotional interaction with their peers and teachers in learning centers, pre-reading, and writing, phonemic awareness through songs, a fun introduction to numbers, colors, shapes, and the opportunity to express their maximum level of creativity through art. By using various materials available in the classroom, your child will manipulate smaller pieces with purpose. The teacher will also provide opportunities to develop ball handling and body movement skills. In your classroom, you will receive a creative time sheet each day detailing your child's day regarding what they had for lunch, how much they ate, their nap, and how they felt overall. If your child is potty training, then this is the class for them! Our skilled two-year-old teachers take pride in being able to potty their students. Pre-Kindergarten | Up to Four (4) Years | CURRENTLY ENROLLING
Children are divided into large and small groups for science, math, language/reading, writing block, art, and technology. Individual learning time is given as well. Outside play is encouraged to develop both large and small motor and social skills. The pre-Kindergarten curriculum is based on thematic units determined by the classroom teacher. We continue to provide hands-on experiences with an increasing emphasis on writing and individual assignments. Our teachers discuss letter recognition and sound, spelling, writing, solving word problems, graphing, science concepts, and how our weekly theme relates to our world. To enhance our curriculum, we incorporate field trips, service projects, cooking projects, art projects, music, occasional videos, technology, and community visitors. Computers and tablets are equipped with age-appropriate software, and word-processing programs are available for our student’s daily use. We incorporate story time, circle time, group time, individual learning time, and recess into our daily curriculum. Children will learn to build a sight vocabulary.
These years are critical for the emerging learner to be prepared for elementary school. In Pre-K, your child will gain the final skills to prepare for kindergarten. Pre-K children will learn to letter-sound relationships, sound out unfamiliar words, and read and recognize sight words. They will learn to match concepts such as more significant than, less than, and equal to, and their number sense will grow. In Pre-K, your child will learn to make predictions based on prior knowledge, delve into traditions of other cultures, and will learn to write all uppercase and lowercase letters. Your child will build confidence with letter-sound relationships and begin sounding out blends and recognizing sight words. While reading stories, your child will be asked to use critical thinking skills to make predictions through small group, whole group, and individual instruction, patterns, and graphs. Your child will be encouraged to explain how they solve a problem. Your child is continuing to mature and become aware of actions and consequences. Teachers will encourage your child to express feelings and behaviors and act appropriately verbally. Our teachers will fill out the behavior chart in the communication folder daily. Students fill in the evaluation as they go. These communication folders are a great tool to keep the line of communication flowing between you and your child’s teacher. They will provide documentation on the behavior chart explaining how your child behaved that day if necessary. You will also find your child’s evaluation inside their communication folder. Our 4-year teachers are required to conduct ongoing assessments.

Before/After School | Up to Twelve (12) Years | CURRENTLY ENROLLING
Our facility offers before-school care where parents may drop school-aged children off before public schools open. The Little Leaders’ Academy of Arts licensed and insured van will take a child from the facility to their school. Our school-aged program operates from school pick-up time to 7:00 pm. A licensed and insured Little Leaders’ Academy of Arts van picks students up at their elementary school and brings them back to the facility. Upon their arrival, children are served an afternoon snack. School-age children can receive homework assistance from a teacher. At this time, teachers encourage the completion of assignments before recess or free time in the classroom. Outside recess is a daily routine for school-age children if the weather permits. During free time, students may participate in creative art activities or choose from various materials and resources available in the classroom, such as books, puzzles, computers, and tablets.
Your child will be welcomed into the classroom each day with a smile from our skilled teachers, who will have their snack ready to eat as soon as they arrive. Immediately following snack time, your child will be offered an hour of quiet homework time with assistance from their teacher. Our dedicated teachers will also prepare activities that encourage further learning and fun for your child to enjoy after their long day at school. Our school-aged children will also be able to enjoy outdoor play on their very own playground, which provides a vast open space that can be utilized for many different games and nature exploration.

All programs are offered Monday through Friday from 6:00 am until 7:00 pm, unless otherwise noted. Payments are due weekly on Fridays by 7:00pm to avoid late fees.
All meals and snacks are included. They consist of breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner.
